During 2001-2002 Tom Mullin toured the upper Midwest with "The Hits" featuring Dennis Provisor, originally a keyboardist, singer and award-winning songwriter with The Grass Roots. The Grass Roots are fondly remembered by many from the Baby Boom era and had a long string of top 40 hits in the late '60's and early '70's. Like Elvis, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, the Grass Roots performed live on the Ed Sullivan Show and were seen by millions of prime-time TV viewers. Their hits include "Midnight Confessions", "Sooner or Later", "Temptation Eyes", "Wait A Million Years", and others. Dennis was a major contributor to their songwriting efforts and his wall is decorated with gold records. |
